Sod and Landscape Restoration, explained.
A trench that has been backfilled still looks like a trench for a while: a strip of bare soil, a slight low or high line and torn grass at the edges. Restoration is what turns it back into a lawn, and it matters as much as the dig.
We settle and rake the backfill, bring in topsoil where needed, lay sod or seed and straw, and restore beds and mulch. We also give you simple watering guidance so the repair takes. For larger projects, grading and seeding are planned together so the site is stable and green.

Why is my lawn sunken over the trench?
The backfill settled. We top it up and re-sod as part of restoration, and a well-compacted trench settles less.
Is sod or seed better?
Sod gives instant cover, and seed is economical for larger areas. The season, slope and budget decide.
How much should I water new sod?
New sod needs frequent watering at first, then less as roots establish. We give a schedule for your season.
